Every Imam

Crescent Project has consistently contended that the best way of reaching Muslims is by building bridges. Further, if Christians are to see significant change among Muslims, we must also identify the influencers among them: Imams and Mosque leaders. 

The Every Imam initiative began in the fall of 2020 with a goal of identifying all 3,000 Imams and/or Islamic Center leaders in the United States, then through a series of mailings and multiple contacts, gauge the interest of Imams in meeting a Christian leader in their area. This is not a fast process, and sadly we find more Imams willing to meet Christian leaders than Christian  leader willing to meet Imams.

• Response rate from Imams is nearly 30%
