A Call to Prayer for Muslims During Ramadan

Whether you have Muslim co-workers, neighbors, or you notice Muslims at your favorite coffee shop or grocery store, Ramadan is a unique opportunity for Christians to bless and pray for Muslims.

From sunrise to sunset, during Ramadan Muslims around the world fast, seeking spiritual renewal and deeper devotion to God. Ramadan provides a powerful season to ask God to reveal His truth, love, and salvation to Muslims who are earnestly are seeking Him in the only ways they have been taught.

Here’s how you can pray:

  • Pray for spiritual hunger – that Muslims would encounter Jesus, the Bread of Life.

  • Pray for dreams and visions – that God would reveal Himself supernaturally.

  • Pray for Christian witness – that believers would show kindness, hospitality, and the love of Christ.

  • Pray for peace – that regions impacted by conflict would experience God’s healing.

Each year we encourage Christ followers to consider giving a small gift to their Muslim friends, neighbors or co-workers during Ramadan. It is very simple but a powerful, practical act of kindness and respect that often open doors for more conversations. Follow this link for instructions on how to make your own  "BLESSING KITS".

Let this season be a reminder that God is drawing people to Himself. May we, as His Church, respond in love, intercession, and a readiness to share the hope of Christ. Will you join our Crescent Project team and family in prayer this Ramadan?
