Field Staff

Our ministry’s strength lies in those representing us globally, from U.S. cities and towns to remote areas in Africa and Asia. These field staff, known as Area Coordinators, are the local hands and feet of our mission.

An Area Coordinator’s role is to inspire, equip, and serve the Church in reaching Muslims with the Gospel. Whether full-time, part-time, affiliate or advocate, each is vital to mobilizing local Christ-followers and embodying the bridge-building we teach. We rely on them to be on the front lines, advancing our mission in their communities.

Some of the ways our Area Coordinators can help you and your church:

• Connect to learn more personally how to reach Muslims in your community;

• Inquire about having one of our Area Coordinators come to your small group and lead a session to gain understand and interest in further learning;

• Invite one of our Area Coordinators to come to a “Missions Conference” at your church and be available to answer questions about the mission of Crescent Project.

• Be part of a “Cultural Immersion” Experience – a one day outing led by one of our Area Coordinators, introducing participants to the cultural signals and opportunities of reaching Muslims in your community. You may visit a Mosque, shop in a local store that serves the Muslim community and even dine in a local ethnic restaurant.

• Join a “watch party” with others experiencing one of our online events surrounded by friends with opportunities to ask questions in real time.

• Hear from Area Coordinators other learning opportunities, even about upcoming mission trips.

Muslim Background Believer (MBB) Leadership

We are committed to seeking and investing in Muslim Background Believers (MBBs), recognizing the immense leadership potential in each individual, both for today and the future. Many of our MBB staff come directly from our internship programs. Our goal is to nurture their gifts and abilities through personal, relational, academic, and organizational development, empowering them to share their transformational stories and step into leadership roles. Currently, we are blessed with ten MBB staff members at various levels and continue to pray for many more to join us!
